OVERVIEW
Combatting Hand Strain
Health complications develop naturally with age, restricting seniors from engaging in day-to-day activities as well as hobbies. Maia addresses the common issue of hand strain, allowing senior seamstresses to partake in their sewing hobby.

Coming from a family of tailors and seamstresses, I sought to create a solution to an issue I noticed. Through the use of CAD and 3D printing, I achieved a workable model to demonstrate this concept.
