The AK Knights mural depicts the themes of diversity and inclusion while incorporating some of Ardrey Kell High school's most defining characteristics.

With the goal of creating a friendlier learning environment, Principal Brooks reached out to art students for ideas. Beginning in my junior year to the end of my senior year, I was chosen to lead this project as the mural designer and director, helping underclassman students transfer my design onto school walls.

As the largest high school in North Carolina, Ardrey Kell hosts students of many different backgrounds and identities. Assuring students' comfort and safety is crucial to the school's productivity.
